Avoid the Blue Light
The blue wavelengths emitted from electronic devices like TV screens, computers, tablets, and smart phones, known as blue light, has been shown to reduce your body’s production of the hormone melatonin. Melatonin is your body’s natural sleep aid. If you are having trouble getting enough good, quality sleep at night, avoid that smart phone or tablet 1-2 hours prior to going to bed. Or, at the very least, dim the device or hold it at an arms length away from your eyes. Try this at least two night this week.
